Choose a puzzle

Tap Puzzles or the current layout title. All eleven layouts are included. First Light is the shortest introduction; Original Gate is the classic challenge. Twin Terraces adds a taller 4×6 board with eleven stones and a minimum of 98 moves. Each puzzle shows its minimum solution length, including the final extraction, and keeps its own progress when you switch.

Hints and starting again

Tap Reset and confirm to return the current puzzle to its starting stones, zero moves, and sunshine. Optional help is in Settings: Hint points out a stone, Direction explains its slide, and Make move performs it.

A hint changes the current attempt’s move count to ∞. Reset that attempt to begin again without assistance.

Sound and weather

A fresh puzzle starts sunny. The first move brings the rain, and solving it clears the sky. You can turn off Rain and thunder, Stone sounds, Nature sounds, and haptics in Settings. Sound also follows your device’s silent mode.

Your progress

Progress saves on this device. Reset affects only the current attempt; other puzzles, earned completion badges, and preferences remain. Sun Gate does not provide cloud synchronization.

Deleting the app removes its local progress; offloading it may preserve that data.

Controls that suit you

For an alternative to dragging, enable direction controls in Settings. VoiceOver users can select a stone and move it with the accessible controls. The app also responds to larger text and Reduce Motion.
